A joke of mighty jokeliness
With apologies due to people who've heard this before, but I considered it necessary to share the love. f(x) = 3x + 6 walked into a bar. "Could I have a sandwich please?" it said to the barman. "I'm sorry, Sir", the barman replied, "but we don't cater for functions." Arf! Arf! Arf! *coughs* You may now return to your normal programming. | | Tuesday, September 28th, 2004 | | 1:47 pm |

If it's not reached you yet, try copying and pasting <font color=yourusername><b>yourusername</b></f ont> into your journal, and see what colour you come out. Crystalclaws or, I suppose, any other name! another name JynLiani(I just learnt that if you're reproducing the commands, you need to type in & lt ; in place of each < and & gt ; in place of each >) But without the spaces between the & and the lt and the ; . Duh. | | Monday, May 17th, 2004 | | 1:00 pm |
I had a go at the bitch/asshole test... It gave me 15%, told me I wasn't a bitch/asshole, and suggested I "stop crying, wuss". *growls* Little it knows. It just wasn't imaginative enough in its questions! I was reminded last night that this journal was here and that I should post more. [Thanks, honey!] So, it's all go at Camp Looterati, isn't it? These are big upheavals, and I can see so many opportunities for the flag now, and this could be such a great rebirth moment. Exciting, but a little scary. I enjoyed judging the fashion contest, and am still giggling intermittently at some of the outfit explanations given. I even enjoyed the feeling of horror as someone (I shan't say who, but he's in our flag) turned up wearing the exact hat that I had earlier-in-the-day identifed as the most revolting hat combination possible to design. We're deciding the Looterati Hats Of Glory for the weekly tournament Jyn suggested, and in the male hats, I saw both my first place and my runner-up revolting hats walk into the room and parade up and down in front of me. *grins* I didn't see who won the King of the Fort... it hadn't been posted by the time I went to bed. Must look that up. Anyway, sweet lambkins all, this semi-random stream of consciousness must end now, or it may just carry on for ever and ever and ever. May your booties be abundant. ;-) | | Tuesday, April 27th, 2004 | | 11:01 am |
Yarrrrrr!
A new volume, a new medium. Could be that a blog is an anachronism for a mid-second-millennium pirate like myself, but frankly I'm tired of lugging round the old wooden-covered log book, and my crew kept complaining when I rescued the book from sinking ships instead of other useful items, such as money, maps or cabin persons. We were meant to have an OCL team brawl last night, but those yellow-bellied Piratezorz lurked shivering in their own homes instead of coming out to face the combined might of Psmith and his Stick, Pokey and his Monkey, me and my puns, Starwind and his Extreme Youth and Enthusiasm, Jyn and his Bitter Cynicism. Wise Piratezorz. Good Piratezorz. In other news, that black-hearted scoundrel Thanos and his licky pup Parthanos have allied with the Devil's Own, or whatever their name may be. My heart breaks, for I like Thanos greatly, and would rather be his ally than his opponent. Still, you can't blame a pirate for acting piratey. And if hideous double-crossing scoundrelly back-stabbing doesn't count as being piratey, I don't know what does. Besides, I'm not sure that Thanos is the role of Benevolent Monk would be terribly convincing! Current Mood: Pleasantly pirateyCurrent Music: O2 telephone service hold music *gnnnnnh* |
